The rounded sides exquisitely decorated with a continuous scene of a long tailed cockerel, hen and chicks in a garden setting and divided by sprays of flowering peony and asters growing from pierced rockworks amidst plantain leaves, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a further cockerel and hen perched upon pierced rockworks amidst peony blooms and flowering asters next to further plantain leaves, all set in between double bands encircling the mouth rim and the straight foot, the base with a six character reign mark within a double circle cartouche. |
