Finely decorated on the lobed bulbous body with flowering begonia and intricate foliage and scroll work below a band of lappets, flanked by a pair of foliate gilded handles on the straight mouthrim incise with a band of keyfrets, all supported on three animal masks stumpy foot, the cover decorated with a reticulated section, surmounted by a floral finial.
