Cast in a style inherited from Ming dynasty Xuande period, with rounded sides raising to a straight neck standing on three feet, covered overall in an opaque glaze of soft jade-like tone suffused with a matrix of greyish-black crackle. This lot displays a successful imitation of the Ge wares from Song dynasty.
