PENG Hung-Chih

Taiwanese　1969

PENG Hung-Chih was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He now lives and works between Taipei and Beijing. PENG graduated from National Taiwan Normal University in 1992 with the Bachler of Arts degree in fine arts. In the year of 1997, he obtained his Mater of Fine Arts degree from Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, California. Since 1997, PENG have held several solo exhibition in United States, Europe, and Taiwan. “Beware of GOD” is the solo Exhibition which PENG won “The 5th Taishin Art Award, Annual Visual Art Award” from Taishin Bank Foundation of Arts and Culture. The featured HD single-channel video installations of the exhibition are now in Museums’ collection; “Canine Monk- Unity of All Religions” in Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and “Excerpts from the Analects of Confucius” in Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts.
