HSU Tung Lung

Taiwanese　1947

Hsu Tung Lung was born in Pingtung, Taiwan. Hsu now Lives and works in Taipei. He graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University with a fine arts degree in 1967. In the year of 1985, Hsu was introduced by the Japan Television, NHK, in the program “Contemporary Jade Sculptor – Tung Lung Hsu. Touring the National Palace Museum.” In the same year, a special television program “Skillful Hand, Jade-sculpting Hand” was produced by Taiwan Public Television to further introduce Hsu. He was awarded in 1990 by the third Taipei County Exhibition, and in 1991 by the eighteenth Taipei City Exhibition. Recent years, Hsu’s solo exhibitions of oil painting and sculpture has been held regularly in Taiwan and China.
