WANG Tiande

Born in Shanghai, 1988 graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Fine Arts). He is the dean of Communication Design Institute, Shanghai College of Visual Art, Fudan University as well as the director and professor of the Department of Art and Design, Fudan University, and the PhD of Calligraphy Department, China Academy of Arts. Important Solo Exhibitions: 2007 "Tiande Re-creation", New York; 2005 "Incense", Vancouver; 2004 "Wang Tiande Solo Exhibition", Germany; 2003 "Wang Tiande – Twenty-first Century Ink Form", Hong Kong. Important Joint Exhibitions: 2007 "Opening FUN – Taipei International Calligraphy Biennale", Taipei; 2006 "Ink: Chinese Art of Writing", New York; 2005 "Toronto International Art Fair", Canada; 2004 "Dragon Dream: Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition", Ireland; 2003 "East Dawning: China Twentieth Century Painting" , Paris.
