Ravenel International Art Group joined force with Shanghai Art Museum to present “1971 – 2010 Forty Years Retrospective Review of Zhou Chunya”. The exhibition showcased one hundred and sixty important works by the Chinese contemporary artist, spanning from “Sheep Shearing”, representative of Zhou’s early work, to later stages “Red Man", "Green Dog", and "Peach Blossom" series, and finally to the latest creation "Sister Flower". It was a thorough review of the artist's oeuvre up to 2010.

展览分为作品展与文献展两个部分，展现周春芽累积多年的艺术发展脉络、思维以及风格。周春芽八○年起不断走访四川藏族地区写生，之后赴德国求学时受到当时盛行的新表现主义冲击，直接影响九○年代发展出的《红人》、《绿狗》系列；《桃花》系列的灵感则源自在成都赏花的情感触动。

此展览是周春芽历年重要创作最完整的一次展览，也是他四十年艺术生涯第一次回顾性质的大型个展，深受华人艺术最高指标评选机构「AAC艺术中国」的肯定，入选「2010年度艺术展览」。
